Delete your account

Delete in the app

  1. Open Gridlock.
  2. Go to Profile → Account and cloud sync.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Read the consequences and confirm.

The app submits an authenticated deletion request, signs the device out, clears local session data, and displays confirmation.

What the request removes

The process removes or anonymizes your profile, cloud save, social relationships, pending requests, public display-name references, and other personal account data not legally required. Verified transaction, refund, fraud-prevention, moderation, consent, tax, dispute, and security records may be retained only where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Purchases

Deleting the Gridlock account does not automatically cancel or refund an Apple purchase. Consumable coins and account-bound progress may be permanently lost. Apple handles eligible refund requests under Apple’s policies.

Apple sign-in

After deletion, Apple sign-in users may be directed to Apple Account settings → Sign in with Apple → Gridlock → Delete to revoke Gridlock’s Apple authorization. This does not cancel or refund an Apple purchase.

Alternative request

When in-app deletion is unavailable, contact Gridlockapp@outlook.com from the account email. Include your Gridlock Support ID, not your password or Apple/Google credentials. Identity verification may be required.

Timing

Requests are targeted for completion within 30 days unless a shorter legal period applies or a lawful exception requires more time. Encrypted backups may take up to 90 days to rotate.
